The Hydrafacial has become shorthand for “that facial that makes your skin glow” — and unlike many beauty trends, the reputation is largely deserved. But it’s also surrounded by vague promises and very few straight answers about what it costs and what it actually does.

What a Hydrafacial actually is
A classic facial relies on hands, steam and manual extraction. A Hydrafacial uses a water-based vortex tip that does three things in one continuous motion:

The 70-minute Anti-Pollution Korean Hydrafacial then unfolds in stages: a double cleanse, the vortex exfoliation and extraction passes, a hydrating infusion layered the Korean way, and a calm finishing sequence with massage touches. You lie in a quiet, private room; there is no rush and nothing is upsold mid-treatment.
Afterwards your skin looks cleaner, plumper and brighter — the famous “Hydrafacial glow”. There is no downtime. Many guests book it two or three days before an event for exactly this reason.

Why “anti-pollution” matters in Muscat
Muscat is kind to many things; skin is not always one of them. Strong sun, fine dust, city traffic and long hours in air conditioning all leave a film of congestion on the skin and quietly drain its moisture. - The glow is real but not permanent — skin renews continuously, which is why a monthly rhythm works best
A Hydrafacial is designed to support cleaner, better-hydrated, brighter-looking skin. It does that very well. It is not a miracle, and anyone who sells it as one is overselling.
How often, realistically
For most guests, once a month matches the skin’s natural renewal cycle and keeps results steady. Before a wedding or big event, one session two to three days ahead gives the nicest glow. If congestion is your main concern, your therapist may suggest a short series a little closer together, then monthly maintenance.
